Jeff Urban is the Audit Partner-in-Charge of the Texas Business Unit. He has more than 28 years of experience performing audits of publicly traded energy companies.
Jeff has broad experience assisting global energy companies with filings of registration statements with the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC). He also has in-depth experience in the upstream and midstream sector and with industry technical accounting and auditing issues.
In addition to his industry depth, Jeff works with clients on SEC reporting requirements, U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, and in dealing with complex accounting issues. He has dealt with a number of mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, drop-down transactions, carve-out financial statements, PCAOB inspections, and emerging accounting issues.
