Development and implementation of economically supportable transfer pricing.

Driven by the global political debate on taxes and the high attention from the media and the public, transfer pricing has become a top focus area for tax authorities and multinational enterprises around the world. Many countries have introduced more stringent transfer pricing regulations and introduced severe penalties for non-compliance. Further, OECD is working on a large project to avoid Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS). This, combined with the increasing number of audits and disputes between the tax authorities, makes it more important than ever that groups are in control of transfer prices and are able to document that transactions with related parties are completed on an arm's length basis and to demonstrate that the applied prices have been implemented accordingly.
