Commitment to our communities is one of KPMG's core values
KPMG’s commitment to our communities
KPMG in Bermuda is the community in which we work and live. We act as responsible corporate citizens, committing time, resources and financial support to local service organisations and charities, with a particular focus on education and youth development.
Corporate Citizenship at KPMG
KPMG in Bermuda has a dedicated committee overseeing the KPMG’s corporate citizenship initiatives. In addition to our annual financial commitments to registered charities, KPMG places particular emphasis on partnering with educational and youth development programmes.
Further to volunteer time and cash contributions, KPMG provides hundreds of hours of pro bono professional services to registered charities each year.
Annually, our Make A Difference Day (MADD) is a hugely impactful hands-on volunteering day where our employees give their time to make a positive difference in our local community.
Our giving policy
Our giving policy is restricted to registered charities in Bermuda who operate principally in Bermuda. The Firm generally does not donate to individuals, religious organisations or overseas trips or events. The Firm has however supported certain community outreach projects lead by faith-based organisations, such as the Salvation Army. In addition, we have contributed to overseas disaster recovery efforts under the auspices of the Red Cross.
Our commitment: wellness and youth
KPMG benefits the community and promotes wellness by way of corporate sponsorship of the KPMG Bermuda Front Street Mile, the annual KPMG Round the Grounds Junior Running Race and other junior sports programmes.
Our commitment: education and youth
KPMG is a leader in the training, development and encouragement of young Bermudians. Our internships, graduate programme and scholarship opportunities support students at all levels.
Our signature KPMG Senior School Investment Challenge is a long-running popular and educational initiative.
Our continuing support
At KPMG, we represent our values through action. It is with pride that we commit ourselves to our communities.
We are pleased to consider any applications that fall within our established criteria for Corporate Citizenship initiatives and are submitted a minimum of 3 months prior to an event or funding requirement.
