To this end, we’re happy to announce the promotion of four Partners and one Managing Director who will take up their new role as of the 1st of October 2023.

  • Paul Potocki is a Tax Partner in our Luxembourg Alternative Investment group. He has 10+ years of tax experience in private equity and real estate. He has extensive experience in cross-border transactions but also assisted several asset managers with the setup of their fund vehicles in Luxembourg. Paul's geographical focus is Germany and CEE, and he has had the opportunity to lead this industry at a firm level in his previous experience. He is a member of the New York, Munich and Luxembourg Bars. 

  • Stephanie Zedda is a Partner in Advisory, she heads the operations of the Fund Distribution team of KPMG Luxembourg. She gained substantial international experience while providing services to the investment fund sector on issues related to Compliance and Cross Border Distribution in Asia, Latin America, Middle East and Europe. She also has vast experience in UCITS passporting and AIFM notifications. 

  • Maxime Eglizot is an Audit Partner in KPMG Luxembourg’s Asset Management department, specializing in audit and assurance services for investment companies and fund structures. He focuses on optimizing and streamlining processes, increasing efficiency and fostering value-added interactions.  

  • Ulrike Menn is a Managing Director for KPMG Luxembourg’s Financial Services Tax Department. She has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector and mainly works with clients active in the banking, insurance and investment fund sector. Ulrike specializes in providing advice on corporate taxation and operational taxes with a particular focus on Automatic Exchange of Information (including the U.S. Qualified Intermediary (“QI”), the U.S. Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (“FATCA”) and the Common Reporting Standard (“CRS”) regimes).

  • Nicolas Willemin is an Audit Partner in the KPMG Luxembourg Private Equity department. He has more than 12 years of international audit experience in Alternative Investments Vehicles, Regulated Funds and Asset Managers. He is a member of the Institut des Réviseurs d’Entreprises (IRE).

Promotions in 2023

KPMG Luxembourg is made up of people from different backgrounds and cultures, each bringing their unique talent and experience to the forefront.
