Markus Portmann

Markus joined KPMG as a tax advisor in 1996 and was appointed a Director in Tax in 2006. He has wide experience in national and multinational corporate taxation. He is specialized in insurance taxation, tax accounting, international tax planning and mergers & acquisitions. Markus Portmann has a proven track record in consulting multinationals in Swiss corporate and international tax matters including current, deferred and indirect taxes with a special focus on insurance clients.

Markus is member of several KPMG network groups and represents Switzerland in the KPMG’s tax insurance network group. Further, Markus is frequent lecturer at the Swiss Tax Academy EXPERTSuisse.
