Jyoti is an Associate Director at KPMG and has been with the firm for 14 years. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and served her articles in KPMG’s Industrial and Automotive sector. Her current role is within the Climate Change and Sustainability team and has been with this team for 5 years. Her sustainability experience lies within the provision of assurance services on sustainability information (quantitative and qualitative environmental, social, and operational elements) to clients across sectors. She is also responsible to train staff on KPMG’s sustainability assurance methodology. Jyoti is also involved in performing stakeholder relational assessments, using the Relational Analytics © methodology. Client experience includes performing such assessments between a mining entity and their communities, within executive group of a financial institution and between a telecommunications company and their suppliers. Her previous role was in KPMG’s technical department. This involved the project management (development, roll out, training and support) across Africa of KPMG’s audit methodology and technology including statistical sampling and data analytics using IDEA ® Jyoti is a member of the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors Sustainability Standing Committee. The responsibilities of the committee include developing guidance for auditors performing sustainability engagements and assurance of integrated reports.
