Brian is the Managing Partner of KPMG Zimbabwe. He has been with KPMG for over 22 years in Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom with an in-depth knowledge particularly of the banking sector. Brian has experience in numerous audit engagements in the financial services sector assisting a cross section of multinational and domestic clients, being involved in auditing and performing other professional services to clients in the financial services sector in multiple countries. He also has experience with due diligence engagements and related transaction services and has considerable advisory/consultancy work experience embedded in the audits principally of new financial institutions, particularly in areas of internal controls, corporate governance, strategy, risk and performance management. Brian has held various key leadership responsibilities including Chairman of the Zimbabwe Accounting Practices Board (ZAPB), a technical accounting subcommittee of the Public Auditors and Accountants Board (PAAB) and the accounting standard setter in Zimbabwe, member of the Financial Reporting Monitoring Panel, a subcommittee of PAAB, President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) (2011) and chairman of the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB) for seven terms.
