Rohitesh is KPMG's Global Mining Leader for Climate Change & Sustainability. He has spent time down mine shafts, at mining company head offices in London and Johannesburg, and in mining communities thinking about and working on issues of environmental sustainability and social development. As a Natural Resources Economist Rohitesh has extensive mining sector experience in various aspects of sustainability including: social license to operate, climate change, environmental resource management and stakeholder engagement. His sustainability experience in other sectors also includes: steel, cement, financial services and infrastructure. Rohitesh achieved an MSc in Environmental Change & Management from the University of Oxford and also serves on the National Business Initiative's Advisory Committee on Climate Change.
