KPMG in South Africa
Devon joined KPMG in 1991 and was admitted to the Partnership in 1998. He was previously our Managing Director for the Department of Professional Practice (DPP). Prior to joining DPP, he spent many years in the Information Risk Management (IRM) function of the firm, both in South Africa and London. From 2007 to August 2011, he was the Head of Audit for KPMG in South Africa and across Africa, where he was responsible for implementing strategy. He is currently the Managing Partner of the Tax Practice and is responsible for setting and implementing strategy and managing the operations of the unit. He is responsible for the firm’s Transformation initiatives.
