Emma is a senior analyst in KPMG’s Forensic practice. Emma holds 7 years of experience in international relations, political and social science research. She demonstrates considerable experience in research, report-writing and translating. She is a member of the Political Risk and Corporate Intelligence service line of KPMG Forensic.
Emma has acquired intensive knowledge in the fields of political and human security, international risks, emerging markets and North-South development relationships. Within her work at KPMG, Emma has contributed to the development of the Political Risk service line by developing a standardised method and context-specific approach to macro and micro political analysis addressed to all sectors.
As part of the Corporate Intelligence team, Emma conducts investigative research and risk management processes central to KPMG Forensics' investigations operations, which includes providing background information, due diligence and risk management reports on local and international entities and individuals.
Emma holds a dual French-South Africa nationality. She is bilingual in English and French. Having a passion for languages, Emma studied Spanish for 5 years, as well as reaching a beginner’s level of German, which she studied for two years. She has provided translating and interpreting services externally and internally at KPMG, specifically for Francophone Africa.
