Following up its research in 2012, KPMG's Banking practice in Central and Eastern Europe have just launched the Banking Executive Survey 2014.
The survey is an essential read for those interested in seeing how the sector is, with a couple of exceptions, climbing out of the malaise seen in recent years. The research queried top management from banks throughout CEE who offered their views on the current state of the banking sector.
This year, the survey was conducted in 14 countries – Austria, the Balkan and Baltic States, Belarus, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia – so it recalls happenings in the previous 2 years since our last survey, and assesses the outlook for the future, offering suggestions to be implemented that could enhance the performance of the banking sector going forward.
