KPMG International announces new co-Leaders for the Global Cyber Security Practice: Akhilesh Tuteja, a partner with KPMG in India, and Greg Bell, a partner with KPMG in the US. The new co-leaders will take over from Malcolm Marshall, who retired at the end of September, having served as Global Leader of the Cyber Security Practice for the past 5 years and has been with KPMG for nearly 30 years.

“I would like to thank Malcolm for his enormous contribution to the Cyber Security Practice, he’s overseen an exciting period of growth and development of market-leading solutions,” said John Veihmeyer, Chairman, KPMG International. “Under his leadership, KPMG has been recognized by analysts and clients alike as a global leader in cyber security consulting.”

Akhilesh Tuteja established cyber security capabilities with KPMG in India nearly 18 years ago, and the practice there has grown to become one of the most innovative, sophisticated and agile in the market. Under Greg Bell’s leadership since 2004, the Cyber Security Practice of KPMG in the US has become the largest in the network with a solid reputation for quality and a track record of consistent growth.

Veihmeyer continues: “In an environment where cybercrime, and cyber terrorism is an increasing threat for businesses around the globe, strong leadership is paramount. This leadership team reflects our focus and ambitions for the future, the international nature of our network and the very diverse pool of talent we have at KPMG.”

Earlier this year, KPMG was named a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Information Security Consulting Services, Q1 2016, January 2016, achieving the highest score in the current offering category.
