The re-launch of the program (InvestSA One Stop Shop) is intended to create a national investment centre that will be used to coordinate and incorporate the special economic zones, provincial investment agencies, local authorities, and the relevant government departments—including the South African Revenue Service—involved in regulatory, registration, permits, and licensing matters. The aim is to improve service delivery to investors based in part on intergovernmental collaboration, whereby multiple professional services are provided in one location.
