United States: New FATCA notification error messages

The IRS today issued a release noting that with the deployment on 23 March 2018 of a new International Compliance Management Model (ICMM), several new file-level notifications as well as updates to the field-level error messages were added to make them more descriptive.

An IRS transmittal message states that as a result, updated versions of some of the ICMM notification user documents—specifically, the ICMM Notification User Guide, ICMM Notification XML Schema User Guide, and ICMM Electronic Field Errors table—have been posted on the FATCA International Compliance Management Model (ICMM) page.  

Also, the ICMM frequently asked questions (FAQs) have been added or updated.
