New Brunswick Finance Minister Cathy Rogers delivered the province’s 2018 budget on January 30, 2018.

The budget anticipates a deficit of $189 million for the 2018-2019 fiscal year, with anticipated deficits of $124 million for 2019-2020 and $79 million for 2020-2021, and a surplus of $69 million for 2021-2022. The budget does not include any new tax changes. Previously, New Brunswick enacted changes to reduce the Small Business Income Tax rate to 2.5% effective April 1, 2018.
