Singapore: Updated common reporting standard FAQs

The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore issued an updated version of common reporting standard (CRS) “frequently asked questions” (FAQs) that provide clarification to financial institutions on matters relating to CRS registration requirements.

In addition, entities that are, or became, a reporting Singapore financial institution between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2017 are reminded to apply for CRS registration by 31 March 2018.
