The Dominican Republic has yet to indicate whether it will be a party to the multilateral instrument to prevent base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS).
The multilateral instrument was signed by 68 countries in June 2017, and nine more jurisdictions have started the process to add their signatures to the agreement. The Dominican Republic is not one of these nine. While the Dominican Republic has not, as of this date, expressed a commitment for approving the multilateral instrument, entities conducting business in the Dominican Republic may need to consider what could be any possible tax implications.
