New Zealand: CRS user guide revisions

The Inland Revenue Department in February 2017 released a document highlighting changes to the common reporting standard (CRS) user guide and CRS XML Schema v1.0.

In general, the changes concern how financial institutions and reporting jurisdiction can make corrections to disclosure information that has already been submitted. 

Additionally, Inland Revenue issued the draft version of guidance for identifying validation issues that will result in the rejection of XML files submitted by reporting financial institutions (e.g., a mismatch between message type and document type indicators).
