Portugal: FATCA reporting deadline extended

Portugal’s Secretary of State for Fiscal Affairs in late December 2016 issued an order extending the FATCA reporting deadline to 10 January 2017.

The deadline (originally 31 December 2016) was extended because of certain technical constraints on the part of reporting financial institutions for the reporting years 2014 and 2015.
