Luxembourg: Amendments reflecting FATCA XML schema v2.0

The Luxembourg tax authority in January 2017 announced changes reflecting the Luxembourg reporting schema that financial institutions will use in filing information returns in accordance with the FATCA XML schema v2.0 adopted by the IRS.

It is expected that the new version of the application (production environment and pre-validation environment) will be available by 1 February 2017, after which only the files in v2.0 will be accepted.
