The Ministry of Finance published changes to two standard audit file items relating to information required to be reported for purposes of the value added tax (VAT) and the revenue and expense ledger. The new guidelines are effective 1 January 2017.

Among the changes to the VAT standard audit file items are the following:

  • Changes to the entity information (e.g., entity address, country code, city)
  • Changes to sales and purchases evidence records
