Representatives of the European Union and Canada in October 2016 signed a free trade agreement that has implications for Polish producers.

The value of Polish exports to Canada in 2015 was approximately €1.2 billion. With the free trade agreement, further growth in the trade between Poland and Canada can be expected. The free trade agreement includes measures to facilitate trade exchange and to reduce or eliminate customs duties.
