Serbia: VAT changes; effective date delayed to 2018

Serbia’s Ministry of Finance (Ministarstva finansija) announced that the implementation date for value added tax (VAT) changes has been postponed to 1 January 2018.

The Ministry of Finance announced via its website (Serbian) that the VAT rules would be amended by the end of the year so that the compliance obligation of taxpayers with respect to submission of the overview of the VAT calculation (POPDV form), as an integral part of the VAT return, will be postponed until 1 January 2018.
