The Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) today presented a report to the G20 finance ministers and central bank governors at a meeting in Washington, D.C.

The focus of the report [PDF 718 KB] is an update on tax transparency, and on the the issue of beneficial ownership information. The report includes initial proposals on ways to improve the implementation of the international standards on transparency as put forward by a forum on transparency and on the exchange of information for tax purposes.
