The Value of Audit discussion continues with what investors need from the audit profession
KPMG continues the Value of Audit discussion at the International Corporate Governance Network's (ICGN's) conferences this year. Beginning in Frankfurt on 08 March 2016, we delved into what investors need from corporate reporting and the audit and assurance profession. A roundtable discussion focusing on audit quality and enhancing the dialogue between auditors and investors was hosted by Ingmar Rega, Chief Performance Officer, KPMG in Germany and Mark Vaessen, Global Head of IFRS. And later that day, a panel discussion on corporate reporting and assurance and what needs to evolve to better meet the needs of the investor community was moderated by Jens C. Laue, Head of Governance & Assurance, KPMG in Germany.
