KPMG’s outstanding reputation in captive finance was confirmed at last year’s Motor Finance: Europe Conference and Awards when it was awarded “Advisory Firm of the Year”. While no such award category was up for grabs in the Motor Finance conference 2017, two of KPMG’s captive finance experts, Sandra Speckbacher and Ulrich Bergman, co-heads of the Global Captive Steering Group, were at this year’s conference to give an impressive presentation about the future of global captive, which was exceptionally well received.
The Motor Finance Conference brings together captive finance, banks, leasing companies, automotive finance professionals and industry disruptors in an active discussion of the key issues facing the industry. This year’s conference was held in Frankfurt (Germany) in March 2017.
Sandra Speckbacher and Ulrich Bergmann held a speech on “Captive Digiconomy - Paving the way for an integrated Captive business model” highlighting the global and multidimensional challenges of automotive captives, the impact of those challenges on the current business model, upcoming trends and KPMG’s solutions to overcome those challenges and ensure continued success. Moreover, they shared some initial insights into the KPMG’s Global Captive Finance Study, which is set to be published in June 2017.
