Olin West

Managing Director in Advisory


Olin West joined KPMG in May 2013 as Managing Director in Advisory. Olin’s role is to lead our Global Business and Alliance with Oracle. This is a new role to capitalize on KPMG’s recent success and growth in this market. His responsibilities include creating new Oracle based service offerings, enhancing KPMG’s current portfolio of Oracle solutions and driving continued sales success. This portfolio spans across all of KPMG’s industries in Management Consulting, Risk Consulting and Tax. Olin’ manages the alliance, marketing and Solution Relationship Directors for KPMG’s Oracle business. Olin brings an impressive combination of Oracle relationship experience, leadership abilities and sales management to KPMG. Prior to joining the firm, Olin was at IBM Global Business Services (GBS) for 12 years. His last role at IBM was leading sales and alliances for a $1B Service Line focused on Oracle solutions. Under Olin’s leadership, this service line had double digit growth each year and was the top performing service line in IBM GBS. IBM was also recognized by all 3 of the major industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester and IDC) as a Leader in their evaluation of Oracle Service Providers. Prior to his Oracle role, Olin was an associate partner with a focus on Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Intelligence and Clinical solutions for clients in the Life Sciences industry. Several of his client engagements received Oracle Titan/Excellence awards. Olin has authored 3 papers that were published by IBM, two on Business Intelligence and one on current trends in customer experience management. Olin joined IBM from the acquisition of PwC Consulting where he was a Manager in the Customer Relationship Management Practice. Olin has an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a BBA in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University.
