KPMG in Singapore
Tham Sai Choy is the Chairman of KPMG's Asia Pacific region. He also sits on KPMG's Global Board and is a member of the Global Executive Committee.
His current role is centred on supporting global companies in developing their businesses in emerging markets, and championing the growth of promising Asian companies with global ambitions. In the ASPAC region, he leads the firm's thrust into its strategic growth initiatives, which are built around data analytics, cybersecurity, transformation and robotics.
He previously led the firm in Singapore as its Managing Partner, and its audit practice in Singapore as well as the Asia-Pacific region. At various other times, he has led a number of its advisory service lines.
Joining KPMG in Singapore in 1984, he was admitted to the partnership in 1990. In all, Sai Choy has more than 35 years of audit and advisory experience based in the UK, Australia, Singapore and operating across all of Asia.
Sai Choy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from the University of Leeds in the UK, where he went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore and of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, as well as the Singapore Institute of Directors.
