KPMG LLP (UK)
Leader of KPMG UK's Tax Value Chain Group based in London. Advising multi-national businesses how to manage the impact of multiple taxes on changes to their international operating models, with the additional overlay of managing legal documentation and systems/process changes. For example, centralising procurement, introducing e-commerce models, changing from Contract to Toll manufacturing, altering the supply chain, changing the role of group companies. With extensive tax reform taking place internationally, in particular in the UK where the stated aim is to become the most competitive tax regime in the G20, we are helping businesses to look at their tax operating model with “fresh eyes”: considering where they substantially create value across their group, including undertaking value chain analysis, and ensuring profits are allocated efficiently, or implementing new models, including “centre led” or branch structures. In addition we advise on how to hold intellectual property to ensure the best rates and reliefs available in a sustainable way, including the impact of recent CFC reform, or utilising Patent Box or R&D Credits. The Tax Value Chain group consists of a team of experts in all taxes, including Transfer Pricing, Corporate Tax, Employee Tax, VAT, Duty, Legal Services, plus Advisory, Systems and Process Change.
