National Partner in Charge, Energy & Resources
Growing up juggling languages in his native Canada helped Ted hone his ability to analyse situations from multiple perspectives. In his role as National Sector Leader, Power and Utilities, Ted is sought after for his skilled adaptation of knowledge from one sector to help find solutions to complex challenges in another, interpret trends and even define a marketplace’s direction. Bringing the financial sector’s operation processes to the government-led power and utilities sector, is one example of how Ted strives to add value and learning to every project he’s involved with. Understanding the client’s needs and knowledge gaps, as well as their end goals shapes his approach to building a project team. It also guides his work when assisting other areas of KPMG involved in a client’s project. While others may have been content with playing air guitar when travelling, Ted once again found a superior solution. In this case, using advanced engineering and a traditional guitar to create a folding guitar that’s perfect for taking on the road. Ted’s not telling if he’s found a solution to packing his sea kayak yet.
