Paul is a partner in KPMG Forensic’s Dispute Advisory Services practice at KPMG in Canada. His experience includes conduct of insurance investigations, accounting for litigation, business valuations and expert witness. He has lent his expertise in investigations on behalf of governments, law enforcement agencies, law firms, charitable organizations, corporations, educational institutions and individuals regarding fraud and misappropriation of assets. Paul has given evidence in Ontario courts in civil matters on topics such as loss of income in contract disputes, fair market value of businesses, loss of income due to personal injury and the tracing of funds through bank and other investment accounts. He has also given evidence related to fraud and theft charges in four criminal matters. He has authored and co-authored a number of articles on forensic accounting, corporate fraud and business valuations published in various periodicals.
