Alberto Martín Rivals heads the Energy and Natural Resources sector at KPMG Spain. He has been working in the energy sector for over 20 years in 11 different countries in Europe and the Americas. His main areas of expertise are strategic planning, corporate finance, regulatory issues and operations improvement in power, gas and petroleum. Alberto started his career in the Energy sector at McKinsey & Company between 1993 and 1998. He then spent 10 years as a senior executive in power & gas at Endesa, including 4 years as SVP of the LATAM business and 2 years as CEO of Endesa France. He rejoined McKinsey between 2008 and 2013 as head of the Energy sector in Spain and leader of Power and Gas Distribution and Corporate Finance for utilities in EMA. In December 2013 Alberto joined KPMG in Spain to lead the Firm’s activity in the Energy & Natural Resources sector.
