Stephen has been a member of the KPMG Global Infrastructure Advisory team for over nine years. Originally from Ireland, where he practiced infrastructure and deal advisory with their Corporate Finance group, Stephen’s career has been principally involved in transportation based public-private partnerships. He joined the Canadian team in 2011. He is a procurement and financial advisory specialist as well as being an accomplished financial modeler. Stephen advises local, provincial and federal governments as well as a number of private contractors on a range of transportation and transit related issues and topics, including major complex project deal structuring, financial advisory, procurement and contract execution. Stephen has experience advising on a range of areas including governance review, procurement strategy development and implementation (including public-private partnerships), financial and investment analysis, financial modelling, financial evaluation, economic appraisal, process advisory, project management, market analysis, business valuation and strategic review. Stephen is a member of the Infrastructure Committee for the Toronto Region Board of Trade and is a regular conference speaker for transit and transportation issues in Canada.
