Meedea is in charge of coordinating a large number of engagements, dealing mainly with personal income tax, social security contributions and immigration issues for international assignees. She is specialized in advising corporate and private clients on employment taxation issues, equity-based compensation plans, as well as tax and social security compliance. She has been involved in performing reviews of global mobility policies and advising on tax optimization structures. Meedea also acts as Knowledge Manager for the GMS team in Romania– updating the global GMS network on any new tax, social security, compensation, labor, or visa/immigration developments, preparing periodical GMS Tax Data Collection instruments such as: KPMG Link Cost Projector; KPMG Link Business Traveler; Thinking Beyond Borders (TBB); Taxation of International Executives (TIES); KPMG Link Social Security Planner.
