Anton is the oil and gas sector leader at the KPMG in Russia practice with responsibility for the region as well as nations in the CIS. He has over 16 years of experience in auditing and advising companies in the Russian energy and related industries. He started with KPMG in 1998 and became a partner in KPMG Russia and the CIS in 2007. Anton has broad experience of specific issues related to listed groups reporting under various standards (IFRS ,US GAAP, Russian GAAP) and transaction related work; setting up and conducting major audits and advisory projects for large groups. Anton is regarded as an expert in the oil-and-gas field and regularly appears on Russian leading business TV programs. He is a regular columnist for Oil of Russia magazine where he writes about the oil-and-gas related issues. He is also the editor and author of various research in the areas of economics and sociology for the leading Russian universities. Anton is the author of the lecture series entitled “Management of vertically-integrated structures in oil-and-gas – sociological aspects.” Anton is actively involved in various audit and energy policy making initiatives through his participation in energy related meetings of the Analytical Center of the Government of Russian Federation and his membership of: the expert council of the Committee on financial markets of the Russian State Duma (parliament) and the expert council on corporate governance of the Central Bank of Russia.
