KPMG in the UK

Mike is a partner in the UK firm’s Department of Professional Practice, where he has responsibility for firm-wide audit quality in technical decision-making, spending his time on technical accounting and related company law issues from across the UK firm’s entire audit client base. He has acted as expert witness. Mike is also responsible for audit reporting and the firm’s approach to more informative reports for shareholders. He has responsibility within the KPMG global network for coordinating and driving forward KPMG’s approach to the global application of IFRS in the areas of consolidation, business combinations and intangibles. Mike is also a contributing author to “Annotated companies legislation” (Oxford University Press), which gives expert commentary on the application of companies legislation.
