KPMG in the U.S.

Kate works at the intersection of sustainable economic development and global philanthropy. She is a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Development & Exempt Organizations (DEO) practice and the IDAS Institute and serves as a Senior Advisor to the United Nations Global Account team. Kate has been with KPMG for 10 years. She has a strong background delivering operational strategy and organizational design project management; Public-Private Partnership facilitation; grants advisory services; and corporate strategies aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. She spent a year with the World Economic Forum representing KPMG as Project Lead and Co-Author of the ‘Future Role of Civil Society’ which explored the evolving nexus of government, business and non-profits to effect change. Prior to DEO, Kate was a member of KPMG’s Global Infrastructure Advisory practice where she advised on transportation and social infrastructure projects, most notably the Building Schools for the Future program in the UK. Kate launched her career at the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee with oversight of foreign assistance policy and was a Country Manager at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency where she managed a portfolio of infrastructure grants across Mexico and Central America. Kate serves on the Board of Directors of Mary’s Meals USA, a global non-profit that provides meals to children in schools across 13 countries. In addition to being a Global Give Back Circle mentor, she is the Co-Founder of a Wake Forest University alumni network designed to empower graduates to pursue professional opportunities of global impact and has served on numerous Advisory Councils of The Johns Hopkins University.
