Mr Wolfgang Laubach

Wolfgang is KPMG’s global IFRS valuation and impairment leader. In this role he is responsible for leading the development of KPMG’s guidance on valuation and impairment, helping to promote global consistency. Wolfgang is also a member of KPMG’s IFRS Panel, a committee of senior professional practice leaders who monitor the development of IFRS and promote the consistent application of the standards throughout the KPMG network globally. Wolfgang is head of the Department of Professional Practice accounting group for KPMG in Germany, having joined this team in 2007. There, he leads a team of KPMG partners and managers who provide technical accounting support to audit engagement teams. He has been a partner in KPMG’s audit practice since 1990, working extensively with companies in a variety of sectors.
