Global Vice Chairman, Quality, Risk and Regulatory
Larry has served as Global Vice Chairman for Quality, Risk and Regulatory and a member of KPMG International’s senior leadership team for the past 9 years. During his over 38 year KPMG career, Larry’s extensive international experience also includes having provided assurance and advisory services to many of KPMG’s largest global clients.
In his role as Global Vice Chairman, Larry has responsibility for establishing and the monitoring of compliance with KPMG’s risk management policies and protocols, the monitoring of the quality of services performed and compliance with professional standards as well as KPMG’s ethics and compliance systems. Larry also leads our regulatory relationships and public trust efforts.
Larry has held numerous other leadership positions having previously served on the US firm’s Board of Directors as well as US senior leadership team. Larry was elected the US firm’s first Lead Director and served as Chair of the US Board’s Audit and Finance and Board Process Committees as well as serving on the Board’s Professional Practice, Ethics and Compliance Committee. Larry currently serves on the KPMG International Professional Insurance and Indemnity Committee.
In addition, Larry spent over four years in London serving as the first Head of KPMG’s US Capital Markets Group advising numerous European clients in listing or raising capital in the United States. Larry also served in the US firm’s Department of Professional Practice and as an SEC Reviewing Partner for over 25 years.
Larry was honored as the Accountant of the Year for 2013 by the University of Buffalo’s School of Management. Larry is married with two children.
