Global Vice Chairman, Quality, Risk and Regulatory
Larry Leva is Global Vice Chairman – Quality, Risk and Regulatory for KPMG International and serves as an executive member of the senior leadership team. Larry has global responsibility for KPMG’s system of quality controls, risk management and ethics and compliance programs. Larry meets regularly with regulators around the world and is committed to ensuring that KPMG has trusted and respectful relationships across the regulatory community.
During his 40-year career with KPMG, Larry has held numerous senior leadership positions and gained extensive international experience living and working outside the US. Before joining KPMG’s global leadership team in 2007, Larry previously served on the US firm’s Management Committee and the US Board of Directors. He was elected the US firm’s first Lead Director.
Larry has also spent a significant part of his career working with clients and has served as Global Lead Partner and Account Executive on some of KPMG’s largest global accounts. While based in London, Larry served as the first Head of KPMG’s US Capital Markets Group, where he played a leading role in advising numerous European clients interested in listing or raising capital in the United States.
Larry also served in the US firm’s Department of Professional Practice and as an SEC Reviewing Partner for over 25 years.
Larry serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement USA. Previously Larry served as Chairman of Junior Achievement USA and also served on the global board of JA. Larry was honored as the Accountant of the Year for 2013 by the University of Buffalo School of Management. He is married with two children.
