Wilbert has over 25 years of experience working with large global companies, investors and governments on projects related to international and domestic tax, Pan European advice and projects, cross-border reorganizations, M&A, IPO€'s and strategic counseling. Since 2007 he has been the Head of KPMG'€™s Global International Tax group. He applies his extensive knowledge of tax law and general business conditions in jurisdictions to assist multi-national and global clients, including European, US and Asian-based companies and funds in the energy, oil and gas, chemicals, financial institutions and electronics sectors. Wilbert regularly leads global restructuring projects for Fortune 500 companies, including supply chain optimization and migration, and also advises governments and supranational institutions. Wilbert has been repeatedly named one of the "€œbest tax advisers"€ by Expert Guides. He is a frequent speaker and moderator on international conferences, on topics such as international tax, fiscal policy, transparency, European integration, globalization and economic developments. He has also published articles on business and tax and contributed to books over the last 25 years.
