Christian is a member of Switzerland’s advisory leadership team for commodities trading clients. In addition Christian is part of the Financial Services practice and leads the Investment Management Advisory business area. He joined KPMG in 2014 and advises wealth and asset management clients as well as institutional investors (insurances, pension funds, corporates) on their investment agenda along the value chain, ranging from topics on asset acquisition to investment management and asset administration.
Prior to joining KPMG, Christian worked for eight years in the Wealth and Asset Management industry and gained in-depth knowledge and experience on Investment Management organizational set-ups and governance, sales and distribution, investment decision and risk management processes, investment products across various asset classes (equities, fixed income, FX, commodities), strategic and tactical asset allocation as well as operational fund due diligences especially in the hedge fund area.
In addition to his role at KPMG Christian has, for the last six years, been a part-time associate professor at the International School of Management (ISM) in Munich and Frankfurt teaching portfolio management and derivatives trading in Master of Finance course. Christian has just finished writing his doctor thesis on Behavioral Finance and Equity Smart Beta Investment Strategies.
