John has 20 years’ experience in information technology with a particular focus on data management and analytics, technology related risk, project and programme management. During his career, John spent 10 years working for two global financial services institutions and a global technology risk provider to the FS industry. John’s areas of expertise are systems implementation and data analytics. John leads the UK Financial Services Data & Analytics practice across Audit, Tax and Advisory. John is an approved skilled person for data analytics (lot 6) reviews and also has significant experience in the operational oversight for Section 166 Remediation Programmes. John has spent much of the last 3 years overseeing the identification and consolidation of data requirements for two UK based global banks, responding to regulatory reviews on Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) and Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD). The comprehensive data requirements process put in place enabled these programmes to proactively manage their customer remediation process and regulatory deadlines. John is advising many major UK and Global banks on their Conduct Risk analytics processes. In particular, his team has built and deployed what is widely considered as the most advanced and adoptable conduct risk analytics platform.
