Jean-Luc heads the KPMG Forensic team in Paris and is responsible for Forensic engagements in France and French-speaking countries in Africa. He has over 28 years of experience with KPMG, having been an auditor before specializing first in mergers and acquisitions and then Forensic (fraud investigations, M&A and commercial disputes, international arbitration), since 2003. He has led engagements in France and in more than twenty countries across all continents. He has been involved in more than 60 valuations acting in a variety of capacities (tribunal appointed expert, expert witness, member of an arbitral tribunal, and independent expert appointed by both parties). As a financial expert, he has given evidence on more than 20 occasions in International Arbitration (commercial arbitration, construction disputes and expropriation). He has been included in the Global Arbitration Review list of Expert Witness since 2014, and was the professor of valuation during the 2015 and 2016 sessions of the Paris Arbitration Academy. His industry experience cover, amongst others, the Aerospace and Defense industries, Telecommunications, Utilities, Oil & Gas, and Construction. He also has extensive experience in the financial assessment of complex industrial contracts.
