KPMG in the UK
Anurag has over 15 years' experience in project and corporate finance with extensive experience in structuring projects and complex transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He has been with KPMG since 2008 and specializes in Infrastructure, Power & Utilities, and Renewables. For example, Anurag has been advising the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) on the Electricity Market Reforms, Contract for Difference design and the negotiations with EDF on the Hinkley Point C New Nuclear project. Prior to KPMG, Anurag was a founding member of the Project Finance group at Infrastructure Ontario (IO), a Crown agency dedicated to delivering major (>$100MM) public infrastructure projects. Anurag also has significant experience in the energy sector having worked at Ontario Power Generation in Toronto and TXU Energy in Dallas in a variety of roles such as trading, structured transactions, quantitative analysis and credit risk.
