KPMG LLP (UK)
Kru is a Partner in KPMG LLP and a Non Executive member of UK Board and Chair of the Remuneration Sub-Committee. Kru is also a member of the Mayor London’s Smart London Board. She leads the Government and Infrastructure practice for KPMG in the UK and her 20 year career has included advising UK and International, national and regional Governments, Health Authorities and private sector providers in improving the performance of public services to Citizens, including technology enabled transformation programmes. Kru re-joined KPMG in July 2010 from a FTSE 250 Business Services Provider operating in the UK Public Sector market where she was a member of the Group Management Board and Managing Director of its Management Consulting Division. Between 2004 and 2008 she held Board level responsibility for the solutions and services division of a privately owned management consultancy serving the UK Public Sector market which grew revenues by over 50% and was sold at a premium in 2008 in line with the strategic objective. Kru originally joined KPMG in 1993 from Westminster City Council where she served in a number of policy development and operational roles. Kru has experience of advising clients on their transformation and performance improvement programmes in the UK, Sub Saharan Africa, and mainland Europe.
