Fernando has over 15 years of experience in the financial and accounting advisory areas, with a particular focus on Audit and Forensic (Advisory). He brings extensive professional experience as an independent expert in various high-profile civil litigation and arbitration proceedings in Spain (CIMA, Corte Espanola de Arbitraje) and across Europe (ICC Paris, Geneva, London Court of International Arbitration and Vienna International Arbitration Centre), playing a leading role in the preparation of expert witness reports and giving expert evidence before tribunals and arbitration courts on more than 80 occasions. Fernando has carried out Forensic projects in various countries in Europe, South America, the United Arab Emirates and Africa, and his experience has been focused on the real estate, construction and infrastructure, energy and natural resources and private equity sectors. He has been selected as being one of the top expert witness to be recognized in the prestigious international publication ‘The International Who’s Who of Commercial Arbitration’ and was recently recognized in Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration 2016 as one of the world’s leading commercial arbitration expert witnesses.
