Since beginning with KPMG as an auditor right out of university, Alexandra has explored many career opportunities in many locations. As someone who rarely stays in the same country for long, she has found a home at KPMG in the Global Strategy Group. In addition to holding a Chartered Accountant Certificate, Alex holds a Licentiate Diploma in Music (Violin) which has seen her work as a recording and touring session musician for more than 10 years; and a PADI Divemaster license that led her from KPMG to Scuba Diving jobs around the world in Thailand, Greece and the Galapagos Islands. Upon her return to Australia, she re-joined KPMG, intrigued by a fresh and forward-thinking opportunity to support global clients with the Strategy team. She now specializes in supporting multinational businesses navigate the operational challenges of mergers and divestments; a specialty which allows her to learn and grow at the forefront of business strategy, and continues to provide the travel opportunities she treasures. Alexandra has recently seconded to the UK firm to take on new client challenges and continue to grow her expertise in company integrations and separations. While Alexandra likes to maintain an “element of surprise” in her career choices, she foresees herself continuing at KPMG; an organization that supports her evolving skillset and career.
