Steve joined KPMG in 1997, working in Audit and then Transaction Services. Since 2012, Steve has played a leading role in establishing KPMG’s Joint Venture Advisory Practice, where he has exclusively focused on advising clients with JVs, alliances and all forms of strategic collaboration. Steve sees an increase in collaboration as a key driver across many industries, and seeks to place KPMG at the top table to help our C-level clients manage the challenges. He has assisted clients with creating multiple new JVs and other alliances across a range of sectors and industries, including early stage strategy and partner selection, negotiation support, facilitating workshops, drafting of relevant JV and alliance agreements, practical value protection, and implementation planning. He has also advised clients with the governance of existing JV portfolios and turning around a number of underperforming JVs.
