Justin is a Partner in the UK Firm and leading KPMG UK’s General Insurance Practice for its consulting business. Justin is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He has spent 26 years, operating and living in Australia, China, Japan, Russia and the last 9 in the Middle East and Africa. He has held senior leadership roles in the global Insurance Industry and European markets and is a highly skilled Insurance consultant with particular expertise around building high performance teams, strategy, business improvement and transformation, technology and innovation. Justin was recognised in 2012 for his achievements in the Middle East region by entry into the MENA Insurance review Power 50 list which showcases 50 people who wield the most influence as voted by an independent panel, in the world of MENA insurance. Justin was the only consultant listed. In January 2013 Justin was awarded ‘Rising Star’ by the MENA insurance industry, described as “celebrating the success, innovation and consistently top performance, recognising a star whose passion, drive and performance makes that individual stand out from his peers.” He is a regular industry speaker and has delivered key note presentations and speeches to the global insurance industry and media including recent interviews with CNBC, Arabia and SKY news, regional conferences in Moscow, London, Dubai, Bahrain, Riyadh, Doha and Mumbai. Justin has completed Six Sigma Lean training along with executive coaching courses and is a member of several trade and advisory organisations. Justin has led a number of engagements for global and domestic insurers focusing on digital, technology and telematics strategy. His global experience has provided insurers deep technical insight into emerging trends and technologies particularly around distribution, segmentation and social connectivity. Justin provides deep subject matter expertise (SME) in relation to Claims, Underwriting, Distribution, Marketing, Segmentation, Strategy and Market entry. In addition he provides advice on performance improvement measures, shared service capability and operating efficiency. He has experience in leading cross border mergers and acquisitions along with post acquisition integration. He also has managed EMEA Internal audit engagements as lead Partner presenting relevant findings to Audit committees.
