Glynn has over fourteen years of experience in KPMG’s Transaction Services practice undertaking both acquisition and vendor initiated due diligence for both corporate and private equity clients. The range of transactions Glynn has been involved in vary from £2million to £11billion providing a depth of experience in both local and multinational transaction environments. Glynn leads KPMG’s Transaction Services A&D team in the UK and has developed extensive knowledge of the sector through Multiple due diligence support to Rolls-Royce, GKN, Honeywell and Umeco (aerostructures, aero engine, composites and electronics. Acquisition due diligence for GKN plc in respect of their acquisition of Volvo Aero. Acquisition due diligence for MB Aerospace in respect of their acquisitions of Gentz Industries, Delta Industries and Norbert Industries and vendor due diligence in respect of their sale to Arlington Capital Partners. Vendor due diligence in respect of the sale of Pattonair division of Umeco. Vendor due diligence in respect of the sale of Trac Group to Chromalloy. Vendor assistance to BBA Aviation in respect of their divestment of APPH to Heroux Devtek. Vendor due diligence in respect of the sale of Doncasters to Dubai International Capital and buy side due diligence in respect of their acquisition of Fastentec. Vendor initiated re-financing support for Firth Rixson. Vendor due diligence in respect of specialist alloy stock holder in the aerospace sector (undisclosed). Vendor due diligence in respect of the sale of Dunlop Aircraft Tyres to AAC. Sell side support on disposal of Shims operations (Shimtech) to Bridgepoint Development Capital. Acquisition due diligence for Mitsubishi Corporation in respect of investment in TES Aviation. Multiple undisclosed buy side aerospace assignments for private equity and trade bidders in composite, interiors and aero engine sectors. Assets including Brookhouse, AIM Aviation and UFC Fasteners. Glynn completed a 12 month secondment to a supplier of metallic components to aero structures and engine OEMs and Tier 1’s where he was CFO after their management buy out in October 2008. This gave Glynn day to day operational, financial and commercial experience in the aerospace supply chain. Additionally Glynn has also undertaken a short term secondment to Rolls-Royce where he supported the Civil Aerospace Division and Operating Units.
